Spheres shot out of dark pink illuminated cumulous, landing in puddles – dead water awakening. Ghosts rose for a brief moment, failing against gravity’s suction. Into the puddle they went. Into the puddle they disappeared. Old shoes broke the ripple and once more ghosts climbed from their graves. The pitter patter of talking rain and thunder’s purr pulsed in her ears.
